Error: FASTTART: on CSF v7.03

Post by P4D-830 »

Hi, today i get this "csf.error"

Code: Select all

Error: FASTTART: (CC_DENY [hk] IPv4) [] [iptables-restore: line 1628 failed]. Try restarting csf with FASTSTART disabled, at line 3767 in /usr/sbin/csf
after this command line "csf -r" command (used via webmin).
LFD.log entrys

Code: Select all

May 17 13:49:54 lfd[1667]: csf (re)start requested - running *csf startup*...
May 17 13:50:09 lfd[1667]: csf (re)start completed
May 17 13:50:14 lfd[1667]: *Error* You have an unresolved error when starting csf. You need to restart csf successfully before restarting lfd (see csf.error). *lfd stopped*, at line 841
May 17 13:50:14 lfd[1667]: daemon stopped
Note: CSF runs allways after this - but LFD is stopped - immho an wrong log message here - or ?

CSF runs here in GENERIC mode, with Iptable v1.4.8 on Debian.

Not an big problem then after an manual LFD restart and before an remove of the "csf.error" it works again as it should.

Any suggestions - should i update Iptable if an newer version exist ?

I'd like some information on this as well. I'm also getting errors in my email.

When I try to upgrade I get this in my VPS WHM.
You have an unresolved error when starting csf:
Error: FASTTART: iptables-restore: line 21345 failed, at line 3759 in /usr/sbin/csf

You need to restart csf successfully to remove this warning, or delete /etc/csf/csf.error
I don't know how much of this you need, but here it is for you.
CENTOS 6.5 i686 xenpv
WHM 11.42.1 (build 16)
cPanel Version 11.42.1 (build 16)
Apache version 2.2.24
PHP version 5.4.17
MySQL version 5.5.36-cll
Architecture i686
Operating system linux
Perl version 5.10.1
Kernel version 3.14.4-x86-linode59
cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1)
VPS is a Linode.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
