Reset Default Settings

Post by crazyaboutlinux »

Hi There,

First of all i would to say thanks to CSF and it's entire team for making an outstanding firewall utility and that too for free!

I would like you to make Reset default settings for CSF & it's other tool, if anything goes wrong after making changes to csf firewall settings we can simply use "Reset Default Settings"

It would be good if you can implement this feature ASAP.

Vote Guys, if you like this feature, and have this feature available in next version

That feature is already available as of csf v6.44 (csf UI > Firewall Profiles):

Hi

Thanks for your reply

I didn't find such option in my WHM , CSF is currently running 6.47
ConfigServer Security & Firewall - csf v6.47

I want to do reset default settings, which comes during csf installation.

Please help me to address this option

I cannot help you if you cannot see the Firewall Profiles option ("Apply pre-configured csf.conf profiles and backup/restore csf.conf") in the csf UI since it is there. You can see the link clearly from the example page:
http://www.configserver.com/cp/csfdemo/main.html

If you cannot see that link, then you'll simply need to uninstall and install again.
