just received a "Improve urinary flow - bladder Emptying- and Prostate function " email that only received a 3.4 score
classic spam with links on the top and paragraph of random text to get past filters
As the mail has been scanned by MailScanner and given a spamassassin score, the problem is not with MailScanner but with spamassassin tests. I'm afraid that there is not much we can do to help with that. You can always try training the bayes database: http://www.configserver.com/techfaq/index.php?faqid=27
Looks like the combination of resetting the Database to get the Journal working, and spending about 20 min in the "message operations " helping the database learn some spam and ham has made a BIG difference. The volume obvious spam coming in has dried to a trickle. It went from 1-4 dozen per hour to less than 1 or 2 messages. HUGE improvement.
The same messages are still coming in but now they are getting scored higher and blocked. Ive even gone in and raised the low and high spam settings back up closer to normal ( 4 and 9 ) and the number of spam hitting the junk folder is still very small
