Re: Configure CSF for prevent spam (SPAMHAUS)
This is not a question for CSF, but for EXIM.
You can configure EXIM to use SPAMHAUS, BARRACUDA, CBL, PSB and UCEProtect among others.
If you have EXIM, I can tell you what you have to set in order for use that RBLs.

Thank you Sergio for you reply!
I'm using Webuzo so now i'm asking to Webuzo if webuzo manage the email with Exim but i can see in the service of Webuzo there is exim.
Maybe if i need instruction how to configure Exim i will ask you here. I can try to search on Google and if i don't find nothing i will return to write here.
Thanks for your help!

Not a problem, just in case you need it, search in google by:
how to add barracuda into exim
it will show a lot of places on how to do it.

Re: Configure CSF for prevent spam (SPAMHAUS)
Thank you,
i have tried to search on the google for configure exim to protect me from spam but i can find only many discussion too hard or where i don't understand.
My situation: i'm a user who moved from shared host to a VPS so i have made many work for run the VPS working.
Fortunately i'm using webuzo, on my VPS there are installed from the hosting company the webuzo panel who made everything more easy but for now the webuzo team is working from 2013 to insert SpamAssasin for protect email from SPAM only because i have wrote to the webuzo team my SPAM problem.. but there are no eta for the relase date and i'm waiting from 2013.
Now SPAM are more than before.. so i'm looking for a solution.
I'm afraid from edit the server config file for example edit exim because if i made something of wrong I will lost the VPS and all website because i'm not relly good in the SSH or other thing and my VPS doens't have reset utility.
It's hard to configure Exim to temporary protect me from SPAM, made the spam less than naow, do you have a link or do you know a webpage where there is a simple instruction?
Thank you.

Re: Configure CSF for prevent spam (SPAMHAUS)
If you feel insecure on doing this, the best chance is to hire someone that could do it for you or talk to the people that gave you the VPS.
I have a VPS that I added a few RBLs to exim but it uses cpanel and I found instructions looking in google for: how to add barracuda rbl with smx plugin

Re: Configure CSF for prevent spam (SPAMHAUS)
CSF is a FireWall, its main activity is to block IPs, not to block SPAM. In CSF you can activate some BLOCK lists, if you enter into the option LFD BLOCKLIST in CSF select in there:
# Details: http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/
SPAMDROP|86400|0|http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/drop.lasso
# Details: http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/
SPAMEDROP|86400|0|http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/edrop.lasso
Those are lists of IPs provided by spamhaus and are used to block IPs and it is not the same as an AntiSpam function.

SPAMDROP|86400|0|http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/drop.lasso

SPAMEDROP|86400|0|http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/edrop.lasso

Re: Configure CSF for prevent spam (SPAMHAUS)
In that option or as I do this, what should I change?
Re: Configure CSF for prevent spam (SPAMHAUS)
Enter into CSF then go to LFD BLOCKLIST, there you will see some info like the following;bluenet wrote:In that option or as I do this, what should I change?
# Spamhaus Don't Route Or Peer List (DROP)
# Details: http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/
# SPAMDROP|86400|0|http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/drop.lasso
If you want to activate that option, just remove the "#" from the third line like this:
# Spamhaus Don't Route Or Peer List (DROP)
# Details: http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/
SPAMDROP|86400|0|http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/drop.lasso
then click on CHANGE and that will save your settings in the following page click on RESTART CSF + LFD and thats all.
