Hello CSF community,
Background:
I like the way that CSF warns (via email) about "Excessive resource usage"
I have learned to use the csf.pignore file to ingnore a process that I know is resource intensive.
For example, in csf.pignore I added "cmd:spamd child" and no longer get warnings about spam assasin running.
Problem:
Every night when my daily backups run I get many email alerts about "pkgacct" with "Excessive resource usage", one for each large account that takes a lot of time to process.
Attempted solution:
I have tried adding "cmd:pkgacct" to the csf.pignore file and it makes no difference.
My request:
I suspect I have the syntax wrong (need a wild card?) or is it a different ignore file?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Michael A.

Re: pignore pkgacct not working
Try:
exe:/usr/local/cpanel/bin/pkgacct
Sergio
exe:/usr/local/cpanel/bin/pkgacct

Re: pignore pkgacct not working
Thanks Sergio, I have now added that line in place of my own.
I'll let you know if the email alerts continue once the next backups are done.

Re: pignore pkgacct not working
Hi,
I have added exe:/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/pkgacct to the pignore file but I keep receiving warning, what did I do wrong?

Re: pignore pkgacct not working
Hi I have the same issue I tried different ignore rows but result was the same
solve the issue but this is not the best approach to fix it
Code: Select all
exe:/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/514/bin/perl
