error send e-mail with attach excel file .xlsx

Since yesterday, after an upgrade MSFE and Clamav, all messages sent and received with. XLSX, DOCX and PPTX, are returning with the following error:

Warning: E-mail error detected
Report: MailScanner: Message attempted to kill MailScanner

MailWatch report: Bad Content/Infected

Can anyone help me with this?

Getting the same thing. Fresh install. Copies config from our last server and cannot get any Office 2007+ documents through. Put in a service ticket still waiting to hear back on it.

This appears to be a bug in a perl module or MailScanner. The workaround is to set "Maximum Archive Depth" to 0 in the MailScanner configuration.

Thank you Sarah... I had this problem too. The workaround is fine but does anyone know a permanent fix for this?
