Mail not being sent/delivered after server reboot

I'm not sure what happened here but after rebooting my server MailScanner no longer works unless I force a ClamAV update from the front-end.

I get an error message about "No virus scanners found" (something to that effect). I had ClamAV installed on the server but I had ConfigServer set up the MailScanner FE and apparently ClamAV is installed in a /local/ directory.

Any ideas on how to fix it? I don't reboot very often so I tend to forget about the issue until I haven't receive mail in awhile.

Have you tried just restarting clamav from the command line following a reboot?

I could do that, but I was hoping there was some "magic" that would do it automatically.
