MailScanner is stopped (But it's Working) ?

I get this message when checking status in the FrontEnd :

MailScanner status...

Checking MailScanner daemons:
MailScanner is stopped

...Done.

I get this message from from service MailScanner status :

Checking MailScanner daemons:
MailScanner is stopped

cPanel Services says it's running, and MailScanner appears to be working

It could be there is a problem with the pidof command on your server, we have occasionally seen this. We do not know of any solution to this issue. If MailScanner otherwise seems to be working then it may not be worth worrying about. What happens when you reload or restart MailScanner at the command line?
