DCC_Check problem

Post by Jerry »

Hi all,

Sorry is this has been posted before- I cannot find thread if it has.

I have several servers running DCC installed by Jonathan. For some weird reason on one server all local domains are labelled falsely as spam due the the dcc_check identifying mails as "7". This is if a domain emails from the domain to the same domain. This is only happening on 1 server and I have compared configs across servers to make sure tings are the same. I thought this would be easy to fix but cannot figure it out, so thought I would ask here.

When I comment the plugin out in sa the DCC is not working so of coure all is well, but I want to use DCC. (#loadplugin Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::DCC)

This is what I have already tried:

Upgraded DCC (also completely removed and installed again)- ensured config is set correctly-
Verified IP is not in RBL-
Verified POP3 and Exim settings are good-
cPanel forced install-
Spamassassin reinstall-
Exim- reset (restarted exim many times)-
Mailscanner remove and re-install-
Check ports in csf-

I was wondering if anyone had any idea else I can try?

Thanks in advance,

Jerry

I realized that in spamassassin and configserver.cf I had some settings that I probably picked up somewhere (dont always do what others say). This was the problem:score DCC_CHECK 7.0 - there was no need for that line and now it is commented out DCC appears to be functioning correctly.

Thanks
