Everytime I get a zip file with PDF's it them mailscanner flags them as executable s and blocks the zip is this normal behavior? What rules am I missing?
Example
One or more of the attachments (index.xml.gz, DissectionApplicationForm.pdf, Dissection Clinic Host pack.zip, Thumbnail.jpg, PkgInfo, DISCLAIMER.pdf, USLOGOINFLAG.jpg, .DS_Store) are on
the list of unacceptable attachments for this site and will not have
been delivered.
Consider renaming the files to avoid this constraint.
The virus detector said this about the message:
Report: Report: MailScanner: No programs allowed (DissectionApplicationForm.pdf)
Report: MailScanner: No programs allowed (Thumbnail.jpg)
Report: MailScanner: No programs allowed (DISCLAIMER.pdf)
Report: MailScanner: No programs allowed (PkgInfo)
Report: MailScanner: No programs allowed (index.xml.gz)
Report: MailScanner: No programs allowed (USLOGOINFLAG.jpg)
Report: MailScanner: No programs allowed (.DS_Store)
Everything is an executable

did you resolve? I have the same issue
Peter
You could always configure MailScanner to not scan (except for viruses) within zip files:
