I performed an update to MailScanner using msinstall/install.sh. Since that happened, MailWatch is no longer showing the latest messages in the Last 50 Messages area of the MailWatch home page.
I assume that MailScanner is no longer configured to log to MySQL, but I don't know this to be the case. Can anyone help me by telling me what to look for?
How many lines I can put each max? Is there any estimated value that will cause high load? For example in a server with this specs:
2 x Intel Xeon 3.0 HT (4x3Ghz)
2 GB memory (upgradable)
Currently both black/white lists are almost empty.
server has few websites with very low to no HTTP/SQL usage. but has about 8000~9000 email accounts, and 90+ domains. 30~40K emails processed daily and server...
I have changed the spam.whitelist.rules and spam.blacklist.rules files' locations in order to easily apply custom rules.
Rule files themselves are working, MS is reading the files and applying the rules properly. But when I try to view the rule set from MSFE main page's drop-down menu, it shows a different file. e.g this blacklist rule file:
Here is the problem:
I need to whitelist all emails coming from sampleshop.com. But they use many different subdomains in their emails like:
address@srv1.sampleshop.com
address2@kmln.sampleshop.com
MFE says: Allowed Format: *@domain.com or name@domain.com or IP address, only one entry per line
But if I enter something like this:
*@*.sampleshop.com , I think filter will ignore the part after...
I went into cPanel, set my low scoring to 5 and high scoring to 12, but I'm still receiving emails set to Spam that have scores as high as 14. It seems like my per domain settings are not taking effect. Any ideas? I'm tired of getting Spam that should be marked Definitely Spam. Not to say the least for what my customers may be seeing.
Do you think it will ever be possible to have users check there own domain mails in Mailwatch, i'd love this feature but i'm not sure if its something you would ever consider.
Also, I would just like to say to anyone that thinks charging for things is unreasonable I would go along with the following saying.
Hi,
I use mailwatch to browse through spam - I am using filters to find spam and after marking spam/ham I click learn button. I am doing this on a daily basis since months but I still have the same spam coming to my server and SA dont even raise score after many learn processes.
Since the beggining of MS installation I am getting lets chat , Can we talk? and enlarge your male organ and those...
Hello Administrator,
We have MSFE installed in our server.
Want to upgrade it. what about the license fee of upgrading? and where can I download the upgrade?
Many thanks...
Hi,
Recently I hear very good things about ASSP. It seems alot faster and accurate that SpamAssassin. Did you guys already review it? Any possibility to include it MailScanner package instead of SA?
I would like to see the option not to refresh the display in taillog as you did in the firewall program. There isn't enough time to see the display before it refreshes.
when trying to upgrade the clamAV to the latest version via WHM.. it runs the script fine but then fails to start and stop clamAV.
when i return to the mailscanner page, it still shows the button to upgrade.. and when my clients try and upload via cpanel, they get this error: Virus Detected; File not Uploaded! (Clamd is not configured properly.)
Just noticed this right after upgrading to the latest front end. Anyone else see this?

I have read the other posts on the MSFE subject already, but have a couple of questions/comments to share;
My employer would not have a problem with purchasing the front end, but they are paying me for support already. that said, your price is certainly reasonable (although, has there been a recent $10 increase? I keep finding references that say $35). BUT, my employer would have a problem with...
