My configServer MailScanner FE not work after Cpanel upgrade. I Click in Plugin > ConfigServer MailScanner FE and redirected to a page blank.

Please, I need help to resolve this issue.

When a search is made in MailControl some times if the REGEX used has some error, MailControl shows the following message

MySQL Error:

and after that there is nothing you can do to return to work, is like the search is not wiped out and continues in memory even if you close MailControl to start it over and the only way is to close the browser in order to start using MailControl...

is there any way for mail control to export reports
it would be very useful if there was someway to export reports about malware & spam. Particularly offending IPs & email addresses associated with them. That can be more easily submitted to blocklists

I suppose what I am looking for is something like use the bulk option. Select the entries I want & export to excel or access or even plain txt...

After a week, i'm finally getting to grips with MS and spam assisin, however, could anyone suggest a custom SA rule to score these.

We get a number of spam where the from field contains a valid user with = followed by domainand @

eg: anyword-user=mydomain.co.uk@spammersdomain.com

Basically I'm looking to add a score if the 'from field' contains the exact phrase ' =mydomain.co.uk@ '

We currently have between 15-20 shared hosting server using cPanel (With CSF, MailScanner FE, etc...)

In order to ease up the maintenance on our servers we are using Puppet. So far, we can manage pretty much every feature from cPanel. But for MailScanner FE, it's a little bit harder!

We can modify the /usr/mscpanel/msconfig.txt configuration file, but once this file is modify, the rules...

I am in the process of changing my server hostname from a .COM to a .NET. In my ConfigServer MailScanner Front-End, it has the .COM in both the %org-long-name% and %web-site%. My .COM is still my organization website as the .NET has no website. Should I leave this as is or change to the .NET?

I'm running Exim on CentOS with pop3 mail boxes.
If I try to open an email via WHM 'Mail Delivery Reports' after the user has downloaded it, it fails, as the message no longer exists.

However, I can still open the message via MSFE 'MailControl'
Does MSFE store email messages after theyv'e been downloaded from a pop3 mailbox. ?

Is there anything in place to stop the server clogging up. ?

I want to change a few SpamAssisin scores,
I take it that I need to modify /usr/mailscanner/etc/spamassasin.conf and then reload and restart MSFE ?

Is there a way to set Mail Control to warn (sent an email) when an account sends more than an amount of emails defined in a day, like a cron to run every X hours a day?

I know that we can set the emails per hour, but if an email account is compromised and the email sends less than the emails per hour and sends all day it could send thousands of email in a day and will be great to...

We a problem with the default settings found in filename.rules.conf and filetype.rules.conf, they're simply ignored.
for example the .exe filename rule is set to deny, and yet .exe file still pass through the filename.rules.rules point to the correct filename.rules.conf same goes for filetype.rules.rules , we tried commenting/uncommenting to see if there's a difference, restarting...

I installed MSFE last week, so I'm watching the logs and activity avidly.
Today, an email was passed to the end user, which I suspect contains multiple virus.

It contained a number of compressed ACE files, which upon investigation both contain EXE's.
I've now added ACE to the list of zip files in MSFE config.

However, worryingly, it also passed a PDF file, which upon investigation also has...

It now only takes up a small portion of the page and lots of subject lines & email addresses are truncated

I had MailScanner installed and one client has complained that a pptx file has been removed from a legitimate email. Could somebody please tell me where the setting is to disable removal of suspected dangerous attachements, or can i setup a way for emails from that senders address to not filter the emails contents?

I have attached the txt file that was appended to the legitimate email...

Tried everything I can think of but can't get MailControl to log emails. Worked fine for months but after server reboot it stopped working. Everything with MailScanner seems to be working fine.
