While tailing logs I noticed that I was getting an error message where MailScanner was complaining that it couldn't find the virus.scanning.rules file on the filesystem root.

The hover color has changed and the line color changes from orange (or whatever color the line was) to white. This is very anoying as we loose the line status of the email...

I am noticing that ASN lookup information provided is not accurate, and is extremely outdated. Take this IP address for example, 192.41.87.122. In the MailScanner MailControl entry for an email that originated from there, the Header IPs section, Under the Organization column, it shows the ASN information as: AS13649 ViaWest. However, this is inaccurate.

If I do a whois lookup on my cPanel / WHM...

I registered an account with SpamCop.net to use the custom email address for reporting Spam received by my server to the SpamCop.net service.

I have been using MailScanner for more than 12 years now and I loved MailWatch because of its simplicity and it could be set to watch the emails that MailScanner processed.

With years MailWatcht become obsolete and ConfigServer make a move to not use MailWatch anymore and MailControl was created for us.

I am honest that I not used MailControl as much as MailScanner for one reason, to watch...

Is there a way to resend a message manually via the terminal instead of using the MailScanner Front-End ???

I ask because I have several emails (885 emails) that have been blocked by false-positive and I have ID of them all, but it is impractical to do this using the Front End for everyone.

I would like to run a script and release them all at once via shell script.

We use a few RBL's and one of them started blacklisting AOL IP addresses. The RBL is still very good in filtering bad email so we would like to continue using it. We were able to find the AOL outbound server IP ranges (204.29.186.0/26, 204.29.186.64/27) and we were wondering if we added those to the MailScanner Front-End Server Spam Whitelist if that would take precedence over the IP's in the RBL...

Could it be possible to have on Mail Control the option to sort by Subject ?
It is important to see all the spam emails that uses the same subject even with different IPs.

We have a few consistent spammers that hit our mail servers every day that we block using the ASN feature of CSF. It is highly effective but seems like overkill for spam. I'm wondering if the CSF ASN block feature can be added to MailScanner? That way we can only add the ASNs there and remove them from CSF. That would be an awesome new feature!

Since update to 70.0.32 this morning MSFE / mail control no longer has any way to open in new window /new tab ( the option is missing) So I only have MSFE showing with side bar, so full details get put over multiple lines

I don't see any way to enable cPanel users to view their emails, or learn as Spam or Ham. Root login via WHM is the only place this seems to be. I purchased this so users I trust could handle this on their own. I don't want to be involved if possible.

We've had a few clients contact us to say mail for addon domains isn't appearing in Mailcontrol.

I'm not really sure where to begin debugging this. Is there a known issue with addon domains or are we missing a cron? The installation was performed by Configserver.

After upgrading via WHM, I now have a white screen when ConfigServer MailScanner FE is clicked. I also performed a manual install using the following but I still don't get the UI. Running a tail did show results so that was working.

FYI: I also can't upgrade CXS which I posted in the CXS board.
