I was wondering if anyone has had any experience running MSFE on a cpanel mailnode?

Very keen to see if anyone can share their experiences and if there are any intricacies we need to prepare for if we go down this route.

That's very useful to allow pdf.p7m that is very common (at least in Italy) for legal document digitally signed.

That works but it's still blocked if instead of being attached to the email is part of a zip archive.
What is the solution in such case?

I've been using MSFE for several years, but each day spammers get more creative and resourceful, so I'm getting more and more spam every day.

Any tip or trick so MSFE can filter more spam?

When checking an email that was blocked due to SPAM the following lines appears:

The Hourly Log Scanner Report is not delivered and is blocked because MailScanner flagged this report with virus:

Where I can do a check of this file msg-691013-207.txt ?

Action list not showing up in one server, under mailcontrol.

When viewing an email, the bottom box that says Actions , isn't showing up on one particular server.

This is the box that includes Report, learn, Report to SpamCop, etc.

I must be missing something simple in the configuration.

None of the mail coming from my customers contact forms are being scanned. When I look at the email in Mailscanner FE it says Not Scanned at the top. Consequently my customers are getting a ton of spam delivered to their inboxes generated from their contact forms. missing the update mfse v9.27

New MailScanner Front End (MSFE) v9.27
12th December 2024
Changes:
Removed session IP match check from DA login
cPanel, General, MailScanner

msfe panel show Upgrade (An upgrade button will appear if a newer version is available)
no update exist msfe v9.26 to msfe v9.27

After the most recent DA update (version 1.672). The Admin interface to MSFE gives this error and no other indication.

CSF was fixed by touch /var/lib/csf/csf.da.skip

Is there a fix coming for MSFE'?

I have this scenario, one customer has a scanner that sends an email from one defined account but the file format that the scanner uses is RAR.
On my server I block RAR files to any one, but on this particular case FAX can't send in another format and I need to allow this email address to deliver such files.

How may I can add the FAX email address to allow to send RAR attachments but not...

I've read: but /etc/mail/spamassassin/configserver.cf isn't there.

So I have edited /usr/mailscanner/etc/spamassassin.conf setting use_bayes 0 is this everithing I need to do?

We upgraded our server and had to reinstall Mailscanner. We used to have it set so the accounts could use mail control on their accounts through their Cpanel but I can't figure out where that setting is. Anyone got a suggestion?
