I'm upgrading my Cpanel server in-place from Centos 6 -> 7, and need to know if MailScanner will just work w/o needing reinstalllation. Anyone have insight into this? Thanks!
Randomly yesterday everything went from working fine to not working at all. We have a WHM/cPanel dedicated server, and MailScanner was installed manually years ago, not as a WHM module but just directly in CentOS.
I believe it's version 4.84.5.
We restarted the server just to be sure of a fresh start. Then tried to run service MailScanner restart and receive errors like this:

We noticed the mail queue had over 800 emails pending. Tried to restart Mailscanner - that did not work (I was in a panic, so I did not properly make note of the error.) Then I just disabled Mailscanner to get email moving again.

I've set up Mailscanner to send out notification to the server admin and the sender when an email is blocked, say for having multiple extensions in the filename.
The notification email to the server admin goes out correctly, using the Notices From and Local Postmaster parameters from MailScanner Config.
The notification email to the sender however doesn't seem to use the Notices From...
I've added some tld's to the Blacklist via MSFE > Front-End Settings > Server Spam Blacklist in the format of
*@*.tld
eg: *@*.icu
Clicked Change and then went on to reload and restart MailScanner for good luck.
All emails from .icu are now being marked as Blacklisted in MSFE and the Spam Report shows spam (blacklisted) but these emails are still being delivered to an account where they...

Spamassassin can put the spam into a folder, but in MailScanner I can only find a configuration for the spam to be sent to a mail address. Our clients complain that they do not want to go to a specific mail account to check for spam and most of them dont now how to configure rules so that emails with Spam?, etc, go to a specific folder.

I have checked the documentation in the User Guide PDF as well as the Command Index, but there is no clarification as to if multiple email addresses can be used in the actions rule.

I've noticed that as of today, my X-%org-name%- headers from MailScanner are no longer being added to emails that come in. My MailScanner configuration shows that I have enabled the X-%org-name%- headers but I can't figure out why they're not being written and stored.

Would it be possible to add a bulk action to add the offending IP addresses to CSF Firewall blocklist.
At the moment, you have to enter inside each message and choose block from within, which is time consuming.
It would be nice to highlight them in bulk and block from there.
My server is running Mailscanner v5.0.2 since 2016 and does not update to latest versions.
I checked mailscanner.info website and it is being continuously updated and current version is 5.1.1-1 released in 25 August 2018.

When a message is quarantined, the sender and recipients aren't notified.
How can we change things so the recipient gets a note with the original email (minus the attachment) saying if you really really trust the sender you can download your message from ?
When spam is suspected, we want the sender to get a reject notice.
