found the solution!
The pid off the running lfd process was an old one, it looks like after a csf/lfd upgrade the processes were not restarted.
After'' killing' the running lfd process and restarting the lfd daemon through /etc/init.d/lfd restart all is working again!

Hi, CSF version 9.25 tail -f /var/log/lfd.log .. .. .. csf v9.20 Webmin/virtualmin csf v9.20
When using the webminmodule and the new fancy theme the csf page shows just a spinning wheel, nothing happens. When switching back to the old theme everythings works as expected.
